Stray Dog Waits At The Same Spot Everyday To Find Forever Home

Stray Dog Waits At The Same Spot Everyday To Find Forever Home

Janet Doring March 14, 2020

An animal organization, Howl Of A Dog, came across a stray dog when they were visiting a rural area for a campaign on castration. The dog, which they called Remy, enthusiastically greeted them every time. The stray dog waited at the same place every single day to be noticed.

The staff quickly noticed that Remy had a mark on his nose. In Romania, there is a superstition that burning a dog’s nose with hot red-iron will make a dog healthier, and it will also help with a dog’s distemper.

In the town, most of the dogs are treated as guard dogs. Dogs who were unable to perform the duty were left to fend for themselves. This may be the reason why Remy was abandoned.

For him to have food and shelter while roaming the village, Remy slept outside a small store where the storekeeper would feed him.
The Howl Of A Dog rescue team was in town almost every day, and so was Remy. The dog was always nice to the rescue staff; it seems as if the dog was silently hoping that the rescuers would take him home.

The rescue team knew that Remy needed them, and they did not feel right leaving such a sweet dog in the streets. Finally, the group decided to take him with them.

Remy was enjoying his stay at the rescue home, but he still needed a new family that would not abandon him and would care for him forever. The Howl Of A Dog regarded Remy as the best dog you could ever have- he is healthy, young, smart, and very loving. Much to Remy’s surprise, a family in North Carolina made arrangements to adopt him.

It is wonderful to know that people are willing to take in dogs from shelters. Remy is now finally home with his beautiful family. He was also given a brand new name, Milou, to celebrate his new happy life.
