Learning is a continuous process. It can get quite tough along the way, but a little support always works. For this English Cream puppy, a little guidance from a pal made all the difference.
This English Cream is named Milo. He’s friends with a Golden Retriever named Archie. These two are buddies, but they couldn’t be more different.
Archie’s the more laid back of the two, while Milo could be a little all over the place. The Labbie’s older, so he exercises patience when he’s around the younger pup.
The time to conquer the stairs arrived, and the white furball had a tough going. He was able to prop himself up on the first stair-landing but was unable to move another step.
Milo’s hooman was all support and encouragement as she filmed and let the pup know that he could do it. After a bit, she decided to ask Archie to lend a helping hand.
The Labbie quickly ran down and promptly showed the English Cream how to climb up the stairs. Archie was quick and business-like, which the disgruntled Milo didn’t appreciate.
After all, he was just a small puppy. Archie should go slower so he could observe how things are done. The cream-colored pup protested loudly, and he gave the Labbie a piece of his mind.
Archie must have understood the emotion behind his little buddy’s barks because he went a little slower the second time. The older dog demonstrated it well and got an approving thanks from his hooman mom.
This time, Milo was able to climb up the second step. With a little more coaxing from mom and Archie, he made it all the way to the top.
Excellent work, Milo and Archie. We thank you for reminding us that a little faith and guidance are potent ingredients for success!
